Listening websites

Do you need to practise your listening skills? Here are some websites that can help you:

There are eight listening exercises here with some tests and questions for each one: http://www.soundsenglish.com/elem.html The links for listening are on the left hand side.

There are seven listening exercises here: http://www.esl-lounge.com/student/listening-elementary.php Click on the links in blue. You then need to right-click (use the button on the right of the mouse) and open the listening exercise in a new tab/new window.

The podcasts on the British Council website are long (25 minutes each), but each podcasts is divided into 1-2 minute sections. There are activities for each section, but you may find some of these activities are quite difficult: http://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/elementary-podcasts

With these listenings: https://elt.oup.com/student/result/engelem/d_audio/?cc=gb&selLanguage=en , you need to listen to all the conversation first. Then "select which parts to see", and read half the conversation: can you write down the other half of the conversation?
